Teen Wrestling Classes
in Hitchin
Serious training for ages 13–15. Teens develop real in-ring skill, athleticism and performance craft with UBW's coaches — the first step on the pathway to professional wrestling.
The teen programme is where wrestling starts to get real. Ages 13–15 train proper professional wrestling: chain wrestling, bumps, rope work, match structure and the beginnings of character and performance — all taught progressively by coaches who've worked real shows.
Training is physically demanding in the best way. Teens build strength, flexibility, coordination and cardiovascular fitness while learning a craft that rewards discipline and repetition. The ring is an honest teacher: effort in, progress out.
For teens with ambitions in wrestling, this is a genuine development pathway — UBW trainees have gone on to perform on live events, and the coaching team can guide dedicated students towards the adult programme at 16.

Common Questions
Can complete beginners join at 14 or 15?
Yes. Coaches assess each new starter and build their fundamentals quickly. Plenty of successful wrestlers started in their mid-teens.
How physical is teen training?
It's a demanding athletic programme — expect real conditioning and progressive impact work. Everything is taught safely, but teens should come ready to work.
Is there a pathway to performing on shows?
Yes. Dedicated trainees progress to the adult programme at 16, and UBW runs live events where developed trainees can eventually earn spots.
